UPCOMING CONCERTSThe Observatory Orchestra is a group of musicians who live, work or play in the communities surrounding Griffith and Elysian Parks in the City of Los Angeles. Some of us make our living playing music; the rest of us have careers in other fields. The common denominator is that when it comes to performing music, we all love what we do.
Our goal is a community orchestra with professional execution. This means that we adhere to the highest standards in the performance of a chamber and orchestral repertoire but, first and foremost, we serve the community in which we play. The Observatory Orchestra benefits many: the musicians who play in it, the members of the community who attend the orchestra's concerts and the entire community, which gains from having an active musical, cultural and educational resource in its midst.
